Overview

At Manthra Vastram Pradha, customer satisfaction is important to us. As we deal with handloom and premium ethnic wear, we follow a transparent and fair return and refund process. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


Return Window

Our return and refund policy is valid for 10 days from the date of delivery. If 10 days have passed since your purchase, we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange.


Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

To raise any return, refund, or exchange request for damaged, defective, or incorrect products, an unboxing video is mandatory.

  • The video must be recorded continuously from opening the sealed package

  • The product, tags, and condition must be clearly visible

  • Requests without an unboxing video will not be accepted under any circumstances

Customers are advised to check the product immediately after delivery to ensure it is defect-free and undamaged.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition as received

  • Original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • Proof of purchase (order ID / invoice) must be provided


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products without an unboxing video

  • Items showing signs of wear, washing, or damage after use

  • Minor colour variations due to screen resolution or lighting

  • Handloom or handcrafted variations that are part of the design

  • Discounted or sale items

  • Gift cards or downloadable products

  • Health, personal care, or intimate items

  • Products returned after 30 days of delivery


Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations such as:

  • Items with visible signs of use

  • Products returned in damaged condition not caused during transit

  • Missing accessories or original packaging

  • Late returns beyond the specified time frame


Refund Process

Once your returned item is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified via email regarding approval or rejection

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method

Please note:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the error is from our side


Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card company (processing may take time)

  3. Contact your bank for confirmation

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted products are non-refundable.


Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

To request an exchange:

  • Email or WhatsApp us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share order details along with the unboxing video

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability


Gifts

  • If the product was marked as a gift, the refund will be issued as store credit

  • If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be processed to the original purchaser


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We recommend using a trackable courier service

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit


Important Notes

  • Handloom and semi-silk sarees may have slight irregularities that add to their authenticity

  • Such natural variations are not considered defects
